A political cancer that has metastasized and now permeates our government and its bloated bureaucracy, academia, our military, many of our large corporations, main stream media, social media, and even some parts of the judiciary. A well organized movement is attempting to redefine who we are, what we stand for, how we govern, by attacking and undermining the pivotal centerpiece of the government envisioned and implemented by our Founding Fathers – a government created by and for “WE THE PEOPLE.” An experiment in governing that in the shortest history of any major country in the world has propelled America from a small fledgling backwater country with a population of just two and a half million to the most powerful, prosperous and importantly, generous nation in the world.

Despite the fact that there’s a lot of partisan political divisiveness here in the United States and for that matter around the world, there is a remarkable unanimity around the entire Free World on one issue: outrage at Putin’s unprovoked and absolutely barbaric assault on Ukraine
VLADIMIR PUTIN – OUR UNDER-USED ASSET THAT CAN SHUT HIM DOWN
Vladimir Putin is an old school ex KGB thug that believes he has the unrestrained right to recreate the USSR, eventually bringing back under his control several of those adjacent Eastern European nations that declared independent sovereignty after the USSR’s breakup in 1991. He knows he can’t persuade them, so he has resorted to military force to achieve it, starting with Ukraine.

My wife and I are proud, life long citizens born, raised, educated, employed and retired right here in Illinois. Our only squabble with Illinois - its long, cold winters. We considered ourselves lucky after retiring to be able to buy a small winter residence in Florida. Net net - we have several years of real world experience living in both states. They point to alarming declines in the crow population in many sectors of the United States, but especially in those areas surrounding the major urban centers on the East and West coasts.

I was struck by an amazing dichotomy in your April 8th issue between the headline on the front page “Billionaires growing their fortunes” and the headline on the Business section “Rationing insulin. Skipping meals.”
